Steps to reproduce
github surfaced #12218 as potential dupe, checked for the linux-x64 package on the npm - it exists and was published under 2h ago (with 0 downloads) https://www.npmjs.com/package/@t3code/t3-linux-x64/v/0.0.45-nightly.20260930.2481
due to that - my best guess is that npm is continuing to fuck up their hold on new package versions - the barrel t3 is available but the platform-specific is not (same issue as effect had?)
➜ ~ npx t3@nightly --host 0.0.0.0 --no-browser
Need to install the following packages:
t3@0.0.45-nightly.20260930.2481
Ok to proceed? (y)
t3: no T3 Code CLI build is available for this platform (linux-x64).
Supported platforms: darwin-arm64, linux-arm64, linux-x64, win32-arm64, win32-x64.
If yours is listed, reinstall t3 so npm fetches its optional dependency.
The desktop app and release archives are at https://github.com/pingdotgg/t3code/releases
Expected behavior
it runs
Actual behavior
it doesn't
Impact
Blocks work completely
Version or commit
No response
Environment
Arch linux, no system updates compared last nightly
Logs or stack traces
Screenshots, recordings, or supporting files
No response
Workaround
not for users but for maintainers - maybe we should holding off the release of the main package until npm actually makes all the deps downloadable?
