Alpine Linux RISC-V images #272
Description
Hello, noticeably RISC-V (riscv64) is absent from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/docker-library/official-images/master/library/rust for alpine tags 3.21, 3.22, 3.23; however Alpine Linux has riscv64 support since 3.20+
What must be done to add these entries?

That's great! Glad to hear from more users of this. I'd submitted MCP 982 (rust-lang/rust#156191) for the required "Tier 2 with tools" status, since approved, and am self-assigned on the implementation which is in code review process currently. Next after that is rustup, and then I think the official docker images can get turned up for this target.

@Muscraft Hi can you poke the build to generate stable images ? Or what detail am I missing, we have images listed in the index https://raw.githubusercontent.com/docker-library/official-images/master/library/rust and the nightly images appear fine at https://github.com/orgs/rust-lang/packages/container/rust/1325499565?tag=nightly-alpine but are missing from Packages and the Docker Hub mirror: https://github.com/orgs/rust-lang/packages/container/rust/1329711425?tag=alpine
P.S. I found it, docker-library/official-images@df1c33b refers to two different commits. I'll send a PR to update that, submitted as docker-library/official-images#22417

docker-rust stable riscv64 Alpine images https://hub.docker.com/_/rust/tags?name=alpine are live now on Docker Hub, confirmed at docker-library/official-images#22417 (comment)
