uv projects, or pip projects that set either input, run plain pytest from the project environment. pytest-args goes through PYTEST_ADDOPTS so shell quoting works without eval. Other pip projects keep the legacy test.py run. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
