Retires backend-quality. Its layering and pattern catalogue describe one backend architecture, not a rule for every backend.

Rules Destination
Handler → service → repository layering; Repository, Service, UoW, Factory, Strategy, Observer, CQRS removed; a fork's stack declares its architecture
Disposability: start fast, SIGTERM, shutdown deadline, crash safety, no in-process state backend-http, new "Process lifecycle"
Admin processes backend-http, new "Admin processes"
Outbound timeouts; auth before business logic; rate-limit public endpoints backend-http, Handler design and Auth
N+1, async I/O, API deprecation, circuit breaker, outbox, cache on measured need already in database, concurrency, api, errors, messaging, caching
  • backend-http is the widest backend chain (8 roots); backend-quality reached 1
  • backend-http already holds the other twelve-factor rule, port binding
  • Manifest entry, file and baseline row removed; generated block in 05-building-block-view.md re-synced
  • Nothing upstream depended on backend-quality; base-oop is now reached by the core seeding alone, which Make OOP guidance opt-in instead of always loaded #2087 takes up
  • Migration-guide rows added; a Breaking changes line follows
  • Fork side: Imbra-Ltd/imbra-ai-templates#59
Score Before After
backend-http 96.4 97.8
backend-quality 98.3 removed

Checks

  • Smoke 35/35; conformance 12 passed, 0 failed, 1 not applicable; readings read
  • Fork sync, release self-test, redundancy audit, resolve, sync_docs --check, score ratchet
  • markdownlint, pre-commit hooks

Closes #2085.

#2085)

The handler, service and repository layering and its pattern catalogue
are one architecture, not a rule for every backend, and leave with the
template. Process lifecycle, admin processes, outbound timeouts, auth
before logic and rate limits move to backend-http, the widest backend
chain; the rest already lived in other backend templates.
