We use the StackitAuthenticate@1 task with a Workload Identity Federation (WIF) service connection. OpenTofu/Terraform works successfully with this setup with your stackit terraform provider.
We would also like to use the standalone STACKIT CLI in the same Azure DevOps pipeline.
The extension documentation describes WIF and Key Flow as separate authentication paths. The Key Flow example explicitly shows:
stackit auth activate-service-account
stackit projects list
Based on stackit-cli/AUTHENTICATION.md we experimented with stackit auth activate-service-account --use-oidc but we get Error: could not setup authentication based on the provided service account credentials..
Could you please clarify the supported approach for using the STACKIT CLI after StackitAuthenticate@1 with a WIF service connection?
