Submission Checklist

  • Run unit tests: ./runTests.py src/test/unit
  • Run cpplint: make cpplint
  • Declare copyright holder and open-source license: see below

Summary

Fixes index_min assignment and indexing so that for cases where the vector size is less than the min index we return back a zero sized vector/matrix. i.e. for vector[1] x; if a user calls x[2:] then we would expect x[2:] to return a size zero vector.

How to Verify

New tests can be run with

./runTests.py src/test/unit/model/indexing/assign_test.cpp \
 src/test/unit/model/indexing/assign_varmat_test.cpp \
 src/test/unit/model/indexing/empty_range_test.cpp \
 src/test/unit/model/indexing/rvalue_index_size_test.cpp \
 src/test/unit/model/indexing/rvalue_test.cpp \
 src/test/unit/model/indexing/rvalue_varmat_test.cpp

I think this is good, just a few pieces of dead code that can be deleted
