Description:
During my mock interviews, I often asked Interviewer for time to think, for example "Let me think for a moment" or "Please give me some time". However, Interviewer kept talking. After only a few seconds, he asked new questions or gave hints, so I could not finish my thinking.
Expected behavior:
When the Interviewee explicitly asks for thinking time, Interviewer should stay quiet until the Interviewee speaks again, or wait much longer before replying.
Actual behavior:
Interviewer continues to ask questions or give hints within a few seconds.
Possible solutions:
- Detect requests like "let me think" and pause Interviewer's replies.
- Add a "thinking" button that stops Interviewer from replying until the Interviewee is ready.
