You forgot to change the maintainer, but I am still fine on maintaining this package.

Edit: The fork seems dead but the original project has a lot of discussion: https://sr.ht/~sircmpwn/wshowkeys/

It seems dead too, but with one new commit with code changes. Should I change upstream? (sr.ht is less popular git server that could be less stable then github)

I didn't realize that this was an arbitrary fork of the original project. We don't accept forks like this unless the upstream project officially endorses it as a continuation.

That these forks have a tendency to burst on the scene and then fizzle out is one of the reasons we don't generally accept arbitrary forks of original upstream projects.

In this case, even the original is advertised as unmaintained, so this is a dead end.
