The purpose of this change is to prepare for packaging slidge (https://slidge.im/). The only package that depends on the python3-SQLAlchemy (not on python3-SQLAlchemy2) is OpenLP. OpenLP builds even with the updated version. I tested the OpenLP briefly and it seems to work. Also the AUR version (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/openlp?all_deps=1#pkgdeps) uses the SQLAlchemy with major version 2 (as a dependency through |
