The four service tabs (Overview, API, Operations, Dependencies) had drifted apart. Each was fine alone, but switching tabs changed the header style, spacing, table edges and sparkline colour.
What changed
One header. Every panel and table now uses panelHeader. Tables open with a shared tableTitle (name + count), and the API Endpoints toolbar uses it too. Before, there were three title styles: the eyebrow on chart cards, small muted panel titles, and the API tab's own text-ui font-medium.
One rhythm.gap-3 between sections on every tab (was 2/3/4). Rows are h-11 with 16px edges on all three tables (Operations/Dependencies were pl-3, API h-12).
Colour carries meaning. Calls and latency bars are neutral and only error bars are red. Before, calls were green-tinted and latency amber, so a normal p95 looked like a warning. Design call:style(web): one sortable table header, visible row hover, sticky header rule #2003 had moved these to severity-info-a3 / severity-warn-a3, and this PR reverses that.
One sparkline colour. Calls/requests sparklines use --chart-throughput (the Overview Throughput chart's colour) on every tab and on the services list. Operations used --chart-1, which turns orange in dark mode. The list's var(--color-primary, #3b82f6) never resolved on canvas, because tokenProperty passes tokens with a fallback through as-is.
Mobile. The Operations and Dependencies tables were hidden md:block, so both tabs were blank below md. They now render with p50/Avg/Activity hidden.
States. Dependencies gains a loading skeleton and an error state; before, it showed "0" and the empty message while loading or after a failure. Skeletons carry the header rows, so nothing shifts on load, and the API chart skeleton height matches the restyled panels.
Panel links use textLink; there is one 30-day range note; the duplicate dependency count is gone.
/lab/service-runtimes takes ?tab= and follows tab switches, so all four tabs can be screenshotted from fixtures.
Verification
tsrs --noEmit clean. oxlint (default + effect config) clean on the changed files. vitest run src/page/services src/lab: 137 passed.
A review sub-agent went over the diff; its findings (bar contrast, Dependencies states, skeleton shift, mobile p95 padding, leftover raw links) are fixed.
Screenshots: headless Chromium against /lab/service-runtimes[?tab=] and /lab/service-api, before = main, after = this branch.
Not changed on purpose: API endpoint rows keep text-ui (Operations/Dependencies rows are text-xs), since that table came from its own design.

Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Service detail links can open directly to the Operations or Dependencies tab, and navigation between service pages works in place.
Improvements
Dependency tables and the Operations p95 column are visible on smaller screens. Dependency views also show clearer loading and error states, while keeping previously loaded data visible if a reload fails.
Updated service charts and table layouts with more consistent headers, spacing, and loading placeholders.
Added notes clarifying when summaries and trace details use different time ranges, and standardized action links across service pages.
The Overview, API, Operations and Dependencies tabs drifted apart: three
section-title styles, gap-2/3/4 spacing, pl-3 vs pl-4 table edges, a
different sparkline colour per tab (Operations' --chart-1 turns orange in
dark mode), and Operations and Dependencies rendered nothing below md.
- One header: every panel and table uses panelHeader; tables open with a
shared tableTitle (name + count), the API toolbar included.
- gap-3 between sections, h-11 rows with 16px edges on all three tables.
- Calls and latency bars are neutral, only error bars carry colour.
- Calls/requests sparklines use --chart-throughput on every tab and the
services list (the list's var(--color-primary, ...) never resolved on
canvas).
- Operations and Dependencies tables show on mobile with minor columns
hidden; Dependencies gains loading and error states; skeletons carry the
header rows so nothing shifts on load.
- Panel links use textLink; one 30-day range note.
- /lab/service-runtimes takes ?tab= and follows tab switches.
The service-runtimes lab supports tab selection from a query parameter and follows navigation to service routes. Service detail views use shared table elements and revised loading, error, and responsive layouts. Chart colors and panel links also use updated shared styling.

Summary
Tab query and route navigation apps/web/src/lab/entries/service-runtimes.ts, apps/web/src/lab/registry.ts
The lab initializes the detail page with the requested tab and follows navigation URLs that resolve to service routes. The registry description documents the Operations and Dependencies query values.
Shared table elements and API tab apps/web/src/page/services/detail/view-table-cells.ts, apps/web/src/page/services/detail/view-api-tab.ts, apps/web/src/page/services/detail/view-api.ts
The API tab uses shared panel and table elements, revised loading layouts and range notes, and shorter endpoint rows. Shared helpers provide table titles, range notes, skeleton headers, and configurable bar cells.
Operations and Dependencies views apps/web/src/page/services/detail/view-operations.ts, apps/web/src/page/services/detail/view-dependencies.ts, apps/web/src/page/services/detail/detail.scene.test.ts
Both tabs show their tables across viewport sizes with revised headers and spacing. Dependencies renders loading, error, stale, refreshing, and success states. Tests cover pending, empty-success, initial-failure, and reload-failure states.
Chart tokens and service panel links apps/web/src/page/services/detail/view-api-charts.ts, apps/web/src/page/services/detail/view-panels.ts, apps/web/src/page/services/list/view-table.ts, apps/web/src/page/services/detail/view-deploys.ts, apps/web/src/page/services/detail/view-uptime.ts
Service charts and sparklines use the throughput token. Deployment and uptime actions use the shared text-link component. The uptime panel separates its title from its scope text.

Answer the API tab’s fixture reads.
Selecting API now follows the tab route, but ANSWERS does not settle its endpoint or API reads. step drops those fetch commands, so the API tab remains on its loading skeleton. Direct ?tab=api has the same result. Add fixture answers for the API reads or prevent this lab from opening that tab. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Not covered: the seeded org has no dependencies, so dependency rows were never rendered on the preview. They are covered by the lab screenshots in the description. The only console errors are 503s from the live-sync host, which the web-only preview doesn't deploy.
Rechecked on the redeployed preview (779d5c4) at 390px: the Dependencies empty state now wraps. The table is 356px in a 358px card (was 594px). 4f78610 adds scene tests for the Dependencies loading and error states; they fail against the old view.

Keep dependency rows visible after a failed refresh.
A reload can fail after a successful dependency read and leave model.dependencies.data stale with the previous DependencyBundle. This branch renders only the error state, so it hides the dependency rows that the previous view kept visible.

Update the onStale branch in dependenciesTab to render the previous
DependencyBundle through dependenciesBody instead of replacing the dependency
rows with errorState. Keep the existing failure display for onFailure and
success behavior unchanged.

Fixed CodeRabbit's follow-up in the latest commit: a failed Dependencies reload (Stale) now keeps the last rows on screen, as the API tab does. Only a first read that fails shows the error. Pinned by a scene test that fails against the previous branch.
🟢 Confidence 10/10 · safe to merge. Re-review of the two files changed since ccf26d5; the stale/loading/error branches are correct and pinned by scene tests. no findings · tests covered · risk low
The files changed since the last review give the Dependencies tab a loading skeleton and a real error state, and keep its last rows when a reload fails. Both behaviours are pinned by scene tests; safe to merge.
dependenciesTab renders a skeleton while the read is in flight and errorState when a first read fails
A failed reload renders the retained rows through onStale instead of an empty table
