Prepare v1.0.0-beta.4 so users receive the mssql-tds 0.2.0 fixes already on main, including Unicode authentication and explicit transaction batches.
Plugin RPC and capability contracts are unchanged.
Validation: 221 Rust unit tests, 3 host-model conformance tests, 34 live SQL Server tests, Clippy, formatting, 13 EXPLAIN tests and all parser bundles/declarations, 2 UI tests and UI build, live manifest validation, Markdown lint. Local optimized release build and security audit also pass (using the existing documented ignore for the inactive optional rkyv dependency). Full CI must pass before merging.
GitNexus: low risk; only new regression functions and release/build metadata, no affected production processes.
