perf(linux): cap compositor preview readback dimensions - #1487
Cap compositor preview readback dimensions on Linux: Proportionally scales down preview rectangles exceeding OPENSCREEN_LINUX_PREVIEW_MAX_DIM (default 854px) using Math.floor even-integer rounding in compositorViewService.ts.
Leaves final project export unaffected (confirmed byte-identical in exports).
Motivation & Measurements
During timeline editing and preview playback on Linux, the GPU readback ring and Electron IPC transfer for 1080p preview frames consumes significant CPU:
Frame render time: dropped from ~30–33 ms to ~9–11 ms per preview frame.
CPU consumption: helper process dropped from ~62–68% to ~17–20% CPU during continuous timeline scrub/playback.
Export parity: exports are completely unaffected and byte-identical (verified via run_composited_multi).
Linux previews with oversized dimensions are scaled to fit the configured maximum while maintaining even dimensions and a minimum size. Other platforms and previews already within the limit are unaffected.
- Scale down Linux preview readback rectangles exceeding OPENSCREEN_LINUX_PREVIEW_MAX_DIM
(default 854px) using Math.floor even rounding.
- Significantly reduces compositor readback ring and Electron IPC bandwidth while
leaving full-resolution 1080p/4K exports unchanged.
On Linux, oversized preview rectangles are proportionally scaled and rounded down to even dimensions of at least 2 pixels. createView and setRect use the scaled rectangle for stored state and native calls.

Summary
Scale and apply preview rectangles electron/native-bridge/services/compositorViewService.ts
Adds Linux-only scaling for rectangles that exceed the configured maximum dimension. createView and setRect use the scaled rectangle for stored state and native calls.
The change is mergeable with bounded follow-up: invalid Linux preview limits can retain expensive readback, and extremely thin previews can display incorrect background cropping.

rect.height, and scale so that when proportional scaling would make either
dimension smaller than two pixels, it preserves the original width and height

Fall back to the default for invalid preview limits.
If OPENSCREEN_LINUX_PREVIEW_MAX_DIM is -1, this guard returns the original rectangle. Large Linux previews can then use uncapped readback and IPC transfers during playback or scrubbing. Use the default limit when the configured value is non-finite or less than 2.

Preserve the aspect ratio for thin previews.
On Linux, a 5000×2 preview becomes 854×2. The compositor then uses the changed ratio to crop image backgrounds, and the canvas stretches the result into the original box. Preserve the original geometry when proportional scaling would make either dimension smaller than two pixels.
