Route-only ! queries skip the lucky redirect on /search.
When a ! query is submitted from the command palette on /search, only route.query.q changes. The search model keeps its previous non-empty value, and committed results do not update. displayResults therefore does not change, so the lucky watcher does not run. The redirect is skipped and the page keeps showing the previous results.
The watcher in app/pages/search.vue reads route.query.q, but it runs only when displayResults changes. Updating the search model alone does not fix this. With instant search off, committed results change only on submit. A fix must also let a route-only query change run the lucky check, and it must keep the existing behaviour of useGlobalSearch for the other pages that use it.

Update the lucky-check watcher in the search page so changes to route.query.q
trigger the redirect check even when displayResults is unchanged; preserve the
existing committed-results behaviour and leave useGlobalSearch unchanged for its
other pages.

Trim the route query before the lucky-mode ! check.
The watcher reads route.query.q without trimming, so nuxt! fails the endsWith('!') test and no redirect happens. The page display and the Enter-key path both trim the value, so /search?q=nuxt!%20 does not redirect while /search?q=nuxt! does.

Trim the value returned by normalizeSearchParam in the route-query watcher
before the lucky-mode check, so trailing whitespace does not prevent
isFeelingLucky from detecting the final exclamation mark. Leave the existing
redirect behaviour unchanged.

Clear the stale Enter target before a lucky search.
After Enter on a query with no exact match, pendingEnterQuery stays set. The watcher then compares results with this stale target, not the ! query, so q=nuxt! may not redirect. The removed focus check also keeps the stale target active. Clear it when a new search starts, or give the ! target precedence.

Update the target selection in the search flow so `isFeelingLucky` uses the

// Navigate if first result matches the query that was entered
Match the lucky redirect against all results, not only the first one.
When the user selects a non-relevance sort, displayResults can reorder the results. The exact package may then no longer be at index 0. The watcher reads only newResults[0], so a query such as nuxt! does not redirect when nuxt is in the list. The page stays on the results.
Search the full result list for the exact name when isFeelingLucky is set. A query without ! keeps the current first-result check.

Update the watcher’s result selection before the `firstResult?.package.name ===

exactly matches `target`; otherwise retain the existing first-result check.

Replace the search entry when Enter navigates from a ! query.
With instant search on (the default), the URL already holds q=nuxt! when Enter is pressed. The Enter branch pushes the package page on top of that entry. Back restores q=nuxt!, and the results watcher redirects to the package again, so a second Back is needed to leave. Pass replace when the current query ends with !, as the watcher does. The condition reads the current URL query, so with instant search off it does not replace an earlier query entry.

Update the Enter-navigation branch for `firstResult` to determine whether the
current URL query ends with `!` using `normalizeSearchParam(route.query.q)`, and
pass that condition as `replace` to `navigateToPackage`. This replaces the
active `!` search entry while leaving earlier query history intact when instant
search is off.
