Adds provider-independent tool execution through
client.tools.execute({ name, arguments, tools, response, context }). Registered tools execute locally with trusted context; script tools execute through the Gateway using a completed response bundle or an artifact reference.The executor handles continuation rounds, returns customer tool results to the script, and applies cancellation and a total execution deadline. It validates call IDs, limits continuation rounds and calls, and keeps trusted context on the host server. The root
createClientfactory exposes tool execution.Third of three dependent PRs, based directly on #1231. This PR adds equivalent server-side tool execution without removing any code from renderer PR #1268. It adds no storage adapters.
Validation: all 45 existing package tests, typecheck, lint, formatting, build, and package export/type checks pass. Inline mocked checks cover local calls, both Gateway execution paths, continuations, falsy results, trusted context isolation, and timeouts. Compiler checks confirm required tool names and context inference. No new test files.
