feat(status-pages): default layout with status banner, paged history and incident calendar - #1948
Customer status pages, 8: default layout like status.maple.dev, with a year of history and an incident calendar
The public page's default layout now follows Maple's own status page.
Status banner: a tinted status band with an icon and a sentence ("We're fully operational", "We're experiencing a partial outage", ...). Under it, either "not aware of any issues" or the active incidents, each linked to its entry.
System status card:
one row per component, with the status icon and name, uptime % on the same line, and day bars;
a date range such as "Jul 2026 - Oct 2026" with arrows that page back through up to a year, 90 days at a time.
Calendar card:
a Monday-first month grid; days with incidents are ringed in the colour of their worst impact, and today is bold;
month arrows go back 13 months;
clicking a marked day lists its incidents. Marked days are buttons with aria labels.
Footer: Powered by Maple, the Atom feed, and new optional Privacy policy and Terms of service links. These are added end to end: DB, service validation (https only), snapshot, v2 privacy_url / terms_url, the JSON config, and the editor's Settings tab.
History: the snapshot carries 365 days of uptime and an incidentHistory index for the calendar. Both are additive fields with decoding defaults, so older snapshots still load. Full incident detail stays at 14 days.
No JavaScript required: the server renders the latest window and the current month. The arrows come from the one nonce'd inline script, which reads an escaped JSON block. A test feeds </script> in an incident title through it.
Themes: every colour comes from the theme. The banner tint per status is the strongest mix that keeps AA contrast, and a test checks all four presets in light and dark.
Snapshot size for 10 components and 30 incidents over a year: 1.9 KB to 7.4 KB gzipped. The rendered page goes from 4.5 KB to 9.8 KB gzipped.

The renderer tests also cover script parity: the shipped inline script gives the same windows, labels, bars and month grids as the server code.
Typecheck is clean across every package and the alchemy stack.
The migration and db:check pass, the iOS spec is unchanged, and knip adds nothing.
Note: each page's config version changes once on deploy, because two new fields appear in it. A client holding a version from before the deploy gets one 409 and re-reads.

The status-page schema, service, and API accept and return privacy and terms URLs. The service validates HTTPS URLs and persists changes. Config comparisons and API audit diffs include both fields.
The editor adds privacy and terms URL fields. It trims and validates values, includes them in update payloads, and passes them to previews and applied page data.

Full details: Title check
Explanation
The title "feat(status-pages): default layout with status banner, paged history and incident calendar" matches the main change in the changeset. The raw summary and PR objectives describe a new default public status-page layout. That layout includes a status banner, a paged system-status history, and an incident calendar. The title names the primary change, and the title does not describe anything absent from the changeset. The changeset also includes footer privacy and terms links, which the title does not mention. That omission is acceptable because the title does not need to cover every detail. The title is 90 characters, which is slightly long but still readable.
Full details: Docstring Coverage
Explanation
No eligible functions found in the changed files. Skipping docstring coverage check. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 0 functions across 32 files.

On the review of bb47cb3: F3 (the 500 cap could drop an open incident) was already fixed in 0af80cd: open incidents are read uncapped. F4 (index cutoff a day wider than the bars) is fixed in 60144d4: the index now starts at midnight UTC of the first bar day; new builder test (fails on the old cutoff). F5/F6 are test-precision notes: the renderer's script-parity test already runs the shipped script against the server code for windows, labels, bars and months, so I left them.
On the review of 8cf2098: F9 (quadratic calendar) is fixed in d879287 (1,699 ms -> 7 ms warm for 500 incidents x 300 days). F7 fixed in a20d007: the stale-after doc comment is back on STATUS_PAGE_STALE_AFTER_MS. Migration checklist:20261029152817_status_page_footer_links only adds two nullable text columns with IF NOT EXISTS; code still deployed ignores them, so it is safe on production data and during the rollout. F5/F6 are test-precision notes covered by the script-parity test, left as is.
…d footer links in the snapshot
Snapshots carry 365 days of bars and incidentHistory (id, title, kind, impact, start,
resolution) for a year; full incident detail stays at 14 days. privacy_url and terms_url
are new https-only page settings, end to end through the service and the config document.
Both snapshot fields decode with defaults, so older snapshots still read.
…tatus and an incident calendar
The default layout follows Maple's own status page: a tinted status banner with a sentence
and the active incidents, a System status card paging 90-day windows back through a year,
a Monday-first incident calendar with a day panel, and footer policy links. One nonce'd
script pages from an escaped JSON block; without script the latest window and month show.
🟢 Confidence 8/10 · likely safe to merge. Held at 8 because earlier reviews of this pull request found 5 defects. no findings · tests covered · risk medium · 5 defects fixed in earlier rounds
Adds the default status page layout: status banner, paged year of uptime and an incident calendar, plus optional privacy/terms footer links carried through DB, service, snapshot, v2 API and editor. Since the last review only the drizzle snapshots were regenerated; they are consistent, so this is safe to merge.
