feat(status-pages): page service, publisher, break-glass import, auto incidents - #1929
StatusPagesService: CRUD for pages, components and incidents. Every visible change bumps the revision in the same transaction. Deletes and slug renames queue edge cleanup in the same transaction.
StatusPageSnapshotBuilder: builds the snapshot from Postgres:
90-day bars from the daily counters;
derived component status;
active, upcoming and recent incidents.
StatusPagePublisher: each minute it:
drains the cleanup queue (with a guard so it never deletes a slug another page now owns);
republishes due pages, longest-waiting first, writing to KV plus an R2 copy and skipping the write when the content hash is unchanged;
writes the heartbeat { at, probesSeenAt }, but only after a sweep that reached the database.
StatusPageReconciler: imports break-glass entries posted at the edge. It lists keys with a cursor and imports idempotently: the update row's unique overlay_entry_id is the claim, and losing it rolls back. An entry key is deleted only once a published snapshot includes it.
Auto incidents: an uptime alert incident opens a page incident (as a draft or published, per page setting) and resolves it. The status-page write runs after the alert transaction commits, and a failure is only logged, so it can never block or roll back alerting. A repair step resolves page incidents whose alert incident is resolved or gone.
Wiring: the alerting Worker binds the snapshot KV namespace and R2 bucket. The status-page work runs after the escalation tick in an existing lane rather than a new one, because the cron is close to the 6-connection limit. The resources live in @maple/infra/cloudflare so all three Workers share them.
Tests
packages/backend, vitest run src/services/status-pages src/services/alerts/AlertsService.uptime.test.ts src/services/uptime src/services/org, 238 passed. The status-page tests cover:
the builder's mapping;
the publisher: hash skip, a failure recording last_publish_error, a stale republish storing its hash, sweep order, and no heartbeat after a failed sweep;
cleanup drain, including the slug guard;
reconcile: pagination, out-of-order entries, keys kept until published, the lost-claim rollback, and "no change" entries;
auto incidents end to end through runSchedulerTick, plus the repair step;
a revision bump test for each of the 11 service mutations.
apps/alerting, vitest run src/scheduled.test.ts, 10 passed.
Typecheck is clean for backend, alerting, api and infra, and tsrs -p tsconfig.alchemy.json passes.
Added status pages with configurable components, incidents, maintenance updates, and break-glass publishing.
Status pages can display component health, uptime history, and incident updates, and can automatically reflect uptime alerts through incident creation and resolution.
Page updates are published automatically, with recovery from missed updates and publishing issues. Pages also stay current as changes are reconciled, and old page links and content are cleaned up after changes or deletion.

Walkthrough
This pull request adds status-page management, snapshot generation and publishing, overlay reconciliation, and automatic incident synchronization for uptime alerts. It wires these operations into API services and scheduled alerting ticks, with Cloudflare KV and R2 bindings.

Adds KV and R2 storage operations and snapshot construction from page, monitor, incident, and update data. Tests cover snapshot content.
Snapshot publishing and cleanup packages/backend/src/services/status-pages/StatusPagePublisher.ts, packages/backend/src/services/status-pages/StatusPagePublisher.test.ts
Creates or resolves page incidents for uptime alerts configured for automatic incidents. Alert synchronization runs in a transaction, has a three-second timeout, and logs and swallows failures. Tests cover published, draft, and disabled page settings.
Overlay reconciliation and incident repair packages/backend/src/services/status-pages/StatusPageReconciler.ts, packages/backend/src/services/status-pages/StatusPageReconciler.test.ts
Imports KV overlay entries into database incidents and updates, clears entries covered by publication, and repairs missing or orphaned automatic incidents. Tests cover import ordering, idempotency, publication checks, and repair behavior.

Adds the status-page service to the API runtime. The alerting worker passes KV and R2 bindings to scheduled ticks, which run reconciliation, repair, and publishing in the escalation lane when the bindings are available.

Concurrent processing may duplicate outage incidents, while deleted or renamed pages may remain publicly accessible. These lifecycle races should be fixed before merging.

Org-scoped CRUD for status pages, components and incidents, break-glass
token rotation, and typed errors plus record shapes in @maple/domain/http.
Every write a visitor could see bumps the page revision in its own
transaction, so the publisher picks it up.
The publisher turns a status page into its snapshot and writes it to edge
storage (KV, mirrored to R2) whenever the page's revision lags, skipping the
write when nothing a visitor sees changed (status_pages.published_hash, new
migration). A sweep in the alerting minute cron catches up lagging and stale
pages, writes the heartbeat and imports break-glass overlay entries into
Postgres idempotently. Uptime alert incidents open and resolve status page
incidents on pages that opted in to auto incidents.
The alerting Worker runs this only when STATUS_PAGES_KV and
STATUS_PAGES_BUCKET are bound, and otherwise logs and skips.
…e, heartbeat after a good sweep, auto-incident repair
- Adopt the snapshot contract: monitored components, overlayEntryId on updates,
openedByOverlayEntryId on incidents; heartbeat carries probesSeenAt.
- Page delete and slug rename queue status_page_cleanups; the sweep drains them oldest
first, guarding slugs another page owns, and writes R2 slug objects with routes.
- Reconciler lists overlay: keys with a cursor, imports each entry in one transaction
claimed by the unique overlay_entry_id, and deletes a key once a publish carries it.
- Sweep orders by publish_attempted_at nulls first and stamps every attempt; a stale
republish advances and stores its hash.
- Minute tick resolves auto incidents whose alert incident is resolved or gone.
🟢 Confidence 8/10 · likely safe to merge. Held at 8 because earlier reviews of this pull request found 7 defects. 3 notes · tests partial −1 · risk medium · 4/4 new units observable · 7 defects fixed in earlier rounds
Adds the status-page service, publisher, break-glass reconciler and auto incidents. The latest commit closes the publish-race, slug-route, defect-swallowing and mid-publish-delete gaps in the publisher and alert tick, each with a test that fails on the old code.
publish clears publishedHash and bumps the page when its compare-and-set loses
A page deleted mid-publish has its KV/R2 snapshot and route removed via cleanEdge
An unchanged publish re-reads the slug route and rewrites it when it is gone
syncStatusPages uses Effect.catchCause under a 3 s timeout, so a defect cannot abort the alert tick
✅ F13 · A lost publish race keeps the winner's hash with a stale KV body, so no sweep rewrites it
✅ F14 · A defect in syncStatusPages escapes Effect.catch and aborts the alert tick
✅ F15 · putRoutes runs only inside if (written), so a lost or dropped slug route is never rewritten for an unchanged page
